To improve performance of composite pad, surface is either grooved or studded or perforated. Wavy / corrugated profile and perforated steel plate is embedded in rubber pad / elastomer to function resiliently under high range of vibrations. SCRP absorbs various ranges of rail-wheel frequencies and provides just required elasticity. Wavy/ Corrugated Steel plate not only provides resilience but also transverse rotational stiffness to rail tilt. SCRP also provides stiffness to Angle Liner Plate and dampens T-Clip vibrations. Thus this system is most efficiently engineered fastening system.
