STS - SLAB TRACK SYSTEM

PRIME-STS is an efficient precast slab track structure designed and developed in India for Speeds up to 350km/h. It is a ballastless track of elastically supported Pre-cast modular universal light-weight replaceable track slab plates with unique 300S direct fastenings with SKL-15 clamps.

Prime-STS Track plate can be customised from 3 rail seats to 7 rail seats based on the requirement. Track plate also has unique end uplift lock mechanism, the prefabricated units can be interlocked to form a continuous track structure. The track plates can also be laid independently with gaps up to 200mm between successive track slabs for drainage or crossing of cables.

Track plate is integrated to the base layer by pressure grouting SCC through the grout hole which also acts as a shear block to arrest the track plate in position and to maintain the line and level during service. STS-P is a general-use track plate with 3-5 Rail seats, requiring simple machinery to erect and STS-C is a cellular light weight track plate of 5-7 rail seats, wherein derailment guard is integrated in the track slab for high-speed application on viaducts and tunnels.

It is easy to fabricate slab units with simple plain moulds due to elimination of humps and shoulders or other complex geometry and combined with 300S fastenings, it gives highest track parameters precision – not only during installation but in long-service. Field Quality Control can be easily achievable due to its universality, simple form, adjustable gauge.

The system is suitable for track on formation, bridges, viaducts and tunnels. Facilitates utility ducts through it along the track (2-150x75mm) or crossings through open joints across the track (200mm).

PTS - PLINTH TRACK SYSTEM

PRIME-PTS is a type of precast track structure designed and developed in India specifically for Urban Metros /Regional Rail Systems (15T -18T axle loads) with speeds up to 240km/h.

It is a Pre-cast Universal ballastless track plinth with integrated derailment containment guard (inner or outer). The track plinth is available with varying reinforcement depths to accommodate any cant/depth arising due to different curve radii, longitudinal and cross slope requirements. The system is suitable for straight and curved sections of track; suitable with direct and indirect fastenings; suitable for track on viaducts, bridges and tunnels. It is also tuneable for Noise & vibration requirements with base elastomer.

It gives very high quality finish on the surface due to the precast nature with minimum deviation from required geometry and needs less maintenance due to higher quality of finishing and is universal ( with variations for cant requirements, depth) enabling rapid construction of urban track systems.

The track Plinth is laid consecutively on the viaduct and a gap of 200mm in between consecutive track plinths for drainage or cable crossing requirements. The Track plinth has provision for the connection of base shear connector to the track plinth reinforcement and is integrated to the base layer by SCC grouting through the grout hole which also acts as a shear block to arrest the track plinth in position and to maintain the line and level during service thereby ensuring integrity between the track base and the track plinth.

Super-Wide PSC Sleeper

The extra-wide railway sleeper solution additionally results in low vibration values, stretches maintenance cycle intervals, and prolongs the track life cycle. Extra-wide sleeper enhance riding comfort, environmental compatibility, and the cost effectiveness of railway operations.  EWRS combined with matching longer elastomer pad makes it best suited for heavy haul and higher speed tracks.

Precast-Universal-Resilient-Removable Track Plates

Ballast less track structure includes series of track plates interlocked together and formed track panel of sufficient length. It is a “ballast less track of elastically supported Pre-cast modular track slab plates, which are universal i.e. suitable for straight and curves. In this track-structure, required horizontal and vertical rail curves profile (line and level) will be achieved by positioning of plates orthogonal to designed track profile.

Plates are pre-cast using table top mechanism which is having an arrangement for precision tilt of mould to achieve required varying thickness of plate across the width and length to meet the requirement of cant and to ensure almost uniform Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) without site reinforcement in it.


These track plates will be having a unique end uplift lock mechanism and continuous center-line shear connectors. Track plates are installed at site to line and level duly integrating with prior installed dispersed shear connectors along the center line of track alignment and by pouring self-compacting concrete to fill the gap between plate and support structure and in shear anchorage block.
