KRTC- Primerail JV Appointed as Track Detailed Design Consultant for NCRTC RRTS Project Korea Railroad Technical Corporation (KRTC) and Primerail Infralabs Private Limited has jointly secured the tender of Track Detailed Design Consultancy for National Capital Regional Transport
Corporation – Regional Rapid Transit System Corridor from Delhi to Meerut via Ghaziabad. Letter of Award has been issued and work has already taken progress.
The Project is of Significant Importance as it is India’s first Semi High Speed Corridor of 180kmph Ballastless Track. Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor of 80km originates from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi and ends at Modipuram in Uttar Pradesh.The Corridor will have 22 stations and two
maintenance depots, one at Duhai and another at Modipuram have been planned which will be at grade. Travel time between the NCR and Meerut will reduce to 35 minutes from existing two hours, once this RRTS gets operational.
