The Avadi-Sriperumbudur Industrial Corridor benefits from its proximity to Chennai, which is a major port city and a prominent economic center in South India. The corridor has well-developed infrastructure, including good road and rail connectivity, making it accessible for transportation and logistics. The planned corridor is of 67 kms length from Avadi-Sriperumbudur –Guduvancheri with spur line which will connect Hyundai factory for industrial corridor development. It consists of 11 yards, 6 crossing stations, 2 Halt stations, 2 junction stations and 1 terminal siding.
